JAMIE GORDON

FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL DESIGNER

Jamie Gordon is the founder and principal designer of J Gordon Interiors, where she leads the creative vision of the studio and works closely with clients to create homes that feel sophisticated, deeply personal and effortless to live in.

Her approach to design begins with understanding how her clients actually live. Rather than designing toward a particular look, Jamie considers the architecture of the home, the people who live there and the way each space needs to function, then brings those pieces together into a cohesive vision that feels collected rather than overly designed.

Jamie believes one of the most valuable things a designer can provide is clarity. Renovations and whole-home projects come with hundreds of decisions, and her role is to simplify those decisions, anticipate the details and guide clients through the process with confidence.

As a wife and mom of three, Jamie also understands firsthand that a beautiful home still has to work for everyday life. Kids, pets, busy mornings, homework, entertaining and everything in between are not things to design around. They are part of the design.

That perspective is at the heart of J Gordon Interiors: creating homes that are polished without feeling precious, interesting without feeling overdone, and above all, personal to the people who live there.
